A rare cast bronze belt from the Vere people inhabiting Northeast Nigeria and Cameroon. A very heavy piece of impressing size, the diameter of the cast beads are up to 3,5 centimeter. Estimated age late 19th century to early 20th century. Very large central biconical bead (L. 12 cm, H. 8 cm) with fine details.
