Large Oni mask, hand carved in wood. Possibly made as a wall mask. Fine mask with deep relief carving , with a orange-red paint.

Provenance: Nils Nessim Antiques. Nils Nessim 1916-1974. His father established the first oriental carpet company in Sweden cirka 1914. Nils started his own oriental carpet company AB Nils Nessim 1941. He established his East Asian Antiques shop on Strandvägen in Stockholm 1964.
