A very rare Dan heddle pulley with carved triangles under the eyes and carved arms on the front side. Dan related heddle pulleys are very rare and there is only 24 in the AHDRC (Van Rijn) archive.

Provenance: Bengt Olson, Swedish/French painter and sculptor, born 1930. Studied for Fernand Léger 1953. Moved to France from Sweden 1960 and lived and worked in Paris until some years ago when he moved back to Sweden. Most of his collection was bought in France in the 1960´s.
