Dogon Kneeling/seated figure, Mali

$0.00

A stunning Dogon figure with a fragmented base with 4 legs that suggest it once was seated, kneeling or possibly equestrian. In the top of the head is a curved Iron rod inserted that once most likely had bells on the front.

H. 27 cm

Bengt Olson, Swedish/French painter and sculptor, born 1930. Studied for Fernand Léger 1953. Moved to France from Sweden 1960 and lived and worked in Paris until some years ago when he moved back to Sweden.
