Very rare chairs by the Finnish designer Runar Engblom. Engblom worked in periods in Sweden during the 1940´s and designed for and exhibited with Stockholms stads hantverksförening. This chair model is designed cirka 1945 and most likely for Hantverksföreningen. See drawing sketch from Stockholms stads hantverksförenings arkiv 1945. Very similar model with same construction on seat, legs and parts of seat back. All chairs in good original condition, only needs new fabric on the loose seat pillows.
