A very long and high, stained pine sofa, designed by Carl Malmsten & Göran Malmvall for Karl Andersson & söner, 1940´s.

This is a unique sofa designed on special commission. 

Göran Malmvall, furniture designer, 1917-2001. Studied for Carl Malmsten. Son to Karl Andersson who established the furniture company Karl Andersson & söner late 19th century. Malmvall started in young years to design furnitures for the family company and was head designer for the "Svensk Fur" line of furnitures. Carl Malmsten (1888-1972) important Swedish Interior architect and furniture architect, designed some pine wood furnitures for Karl Andersson & söner during 1930´s - 1950´s.
