Amazing canoe from Kerala, South India. These canoes are called serpent canoes “ Iruttukkutti Vallam”. Fluted and scrolled prow and stern, shallow draught. Stylized relief carved canoes on the inside of the canoe. Nice age patina, some smaller old repairs.
